Journalism Certificate Curriculum

Our rigourous certificate programs cater to students needs in developing the strong communication skills needed to excel in journalism. Each certificate explores many areas of media studies and provides both practical and theortical foundations needed to be succesful.

• 4 required core courses
• 6+ elective courses with options in journalism, and/or fundraising and nonprofit management

General Requirements

Students must complete requirements within 3 years from the date of enrolling in the certificate. Courses must be passed with a letter grade of “C” or better in order to count toward your certificate.
